Office Technician - (US-CA-Sacramento - 95899) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: N/A Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities: The incumbent will be expected to assist the Boards employees in a timely and professional manner via email, phone or in person when visiting HRS by answering any questions they may have regarding benefits, payroll, attendance, etc. and/or directing them to the proper HRS staff for additional assistance. By request, provide employees with forms necessary to update employee records. Review and maintain the Request for Personnel Actions (RPA) Log (Excel spreadsheet). Track the progress of each RPA from inception to completion. Prepare and distribute job opportunity and/or examination bulletins to all staff via email, post announcements on the SPBs website (VPOS) and submit Track-it requests to the Boards Information Systems Section for posting on the website and internal Intranet. Assist in the recruitment process by mailing contact letters to potential candidates and recording the responses that are returned. Monitor responses in order to determine list eligibility of candidates. Assist the analyst in the exam process by scheduling candidates for interviews/testing. Distribute final scoring notices via regular mail to successful candidates. Maintain the posting of all outside state job bulletins and examination announcements. Update and revise the Board's organizational charts when changes within the structure occur such as new appointments, separations or organizational changes as a result in changes to business needs. Prepare and maintain new employee orientation packages for the HRS specialists. Prepare new Official Personnel Files (OPFs) and timesheet files for employees new to the Board and maintain OPFs and timesheet files for all employees. .
