Responsibilities: Create, edit and update test plans and test cases ensuring use of appropriate test methodology, complete test coverage and full test documentation for all code to be tested. Create trace matrices and/or flow graphs to support test plan and test cases. 3. 5% Document and escalate defects per standard processes. 4. 5% Document all testing results in standard format. Assist with Go/No/Go deployment decisions. 5. 5% Participate in requirements and design review meetings, actively representing SQA. 6. 5% Other duties as assigned by SQA manager. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business and/or equivalent education experience preferred. - Three or more years in software quality assurance including back end testing experience. - Experience in software development (as a programmer) is a plus. - Experience with automation and automation tools a plus but not required. - Experience with SQL required. Must be able to write own queries as well as execute and modify existing queries. - Experience in an Agile or Iterative environment a plus. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in software testing, QA methodologies, QA processes and software lifecycle. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) required for interaction internally and externally. - Demonstrated knowledge and experience in documenting test plans and test cases. - Demonstrated active participation in requirement and design meetings and reviews. - Experience in areas of estimating and prioritizing assigned tasks strongly preferred. - Experience in reporting status is required. .
