Provides services to employees to answer their benefit questions. Prepare and maintain personnel files. This position requires working closely with other employees that are in an open office atmosphere; there will be sharing of duties to facilitate breaks, lunches, vacations, and other forms of time off away from work within the general administrative pool. Prepares and communicates information for employees and former employees about benefit programs, procedures, changes and government-mandated disclosures. Maintains employee benefits data in automated human resources information systems. Places advertisements for open positions with agencies and media. Enters Drivers License number and expiration date for employees receiving car allowance or driving a company vehicle. Issues Ring Power Vehicle License, maintains database and sends reminders for renewal. Verifies and obtains references and work history information from prior employers, educational organizations, individuals, and other sources. Initiates New Hire screening via computer, sets up appointments for physical and drug test, runs background reports and MVR reports, advises management of results. Assists in distributing and posting required information on Company bulletin boards. .
