Responsibilities: Stays current with U.S. and international economics, money flow, and investment vehicles, in order to evaluate the College's opportunities for investment return and growth. Develops and implements analytical portfolio monitoring tools to measure risk and return; perform periodic asset allocation analysis. Performs review and analysis of monthly/quarterly valuations provided for traditional and alternative investments. Prepares monthly and quarterly reports on the investment pool. Prepares a variety of surveys. Develops and maintains systems for measuring performance for total investment pool assets and relevant subsets of assets (individual managers, asset classes, manager groups, etc.) and adherence to policy guidelines. Reviews and maintains endowment and life income trust records. Prepares cash flow forecasts, monitors cash to be invested or redeemed in the investment pool and assesses cash needs. Prepares endowment spending policy income forecasts (budget relieving vs. other) Maintains Investment Committee website and ensures resource documents kept current. Works with the Planned Giving Office on the accounting, reporting and investing of life income trusts. Researches and responds to endowment inquiries. Communicates with investment counselors as needed. Performs other essential duties and tasks specific to the position or as assigned. Some travel required to investment conferences. .
