Senior Portal Developer (4 spots)

We have 4 that are all of the same skill set. Resumes will be screened for the following skills…..

5+ years of Java for mid-sized to large, notable companies. (2000 employees)
Lots of Spring and Hibernate experience.
Oracle 10g or higher
Vignette Portal development
Experience using JSR-168 portlets
Good listening and speaking skills.
We require Sr. Portal Developer with the following responsibilities:

Participate in development of systems design; this includes specifying the component packaged and custom applications, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, etc.
Communicating risks and issues to project management
Coding and designing application
Using best practices for development
Perform unit testing and fixes during testing Phase
Create/document deployment procedures
Create/document operational procedures


The resource will be responsible for the following deliverables:

All documentation regarding system design
Detailed System Architecture Diagram
Data-flow Diagram
Class Diagrams
Activity and State Diagrams
Component Diagrams
Deployment Diagrams
Configurations
Build and unit tested modules for the system
Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in Java development for large-scale enterprise systems;
Experience in development and implementation of large-scale enterprise internet/intranet J2EE systems.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Spring and Hibernate
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;
Solid knowledge of testing tools and techniques;
Practical knowledge of commercial portals (preferably Vignette) and at least 3 years of hands-on experience of portal application development using JSR-168 portlets
Hands on experience with Oracle database;
Strong experience working with WebLogic or other enterprise application servers.
Strong knowledge of SQL and database design;
Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology
Knowledge of MQ client / JMS API
Experience working with the following technologies:
Commercial Application Portal (preferably Vignette)
Oracle
SQL
BEA WebLogic
UNIX
JSP/Servlets
Hibernate
XML/XSL
