Overview:
The Director/Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations is responsible for developing and managing the marketing analytics strategy, supporting the top key marketing campaigns and delivering marketing automation thought leadership, training and business process and technology solution improvements to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the North America Marketing organization. This is a contractor to permanent position with the plan to convert to a permanent headcount in early Q1 2010.
Reporting Structure:
Direct report to the Sr. Director, North America Marketing
Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Marketing Analytics and Reporting:
o Develop scalable, repeatable processes of measuring return on investment for North America Marketing campaigns.
o Analyze the data and create reports, including marketing dashboards, for the Sr. Director of North America Marketing and other key stakeholders.
o Work closely with the Sr. Director of Marketing Operations and other key team members to ensure accuracy and consistency across sales and marketing as well as other countries.
• Marketing Systems Infrastructure:
o Manage the day to day operation of the marketing technology platform for the North America Marketing team.
o Work closely with the team to launch new capabilities within the marketing technology platform, administer lead flow process and synchronize with the CRM system.
• Data Management and Quality:
o Manage the North America Marketing team house list, including the data integrity and data synchronization between the marketing technology platform database and data maintained with the CRM system.
o Procure data from various systems, will keep the data maintained and will assist in data segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns.
• Campaign Creation:
o Support the North America Marketing team on various campaign activities, including html coding to help build e-mail blasts, landing pages and web forms out of the marketing technology platform.
Preferred Skills:
• BA/BS in Marketing/Business
• Minimum of 6 - 8 years experience in Marketing Operations/ Demand Generation/Lead Generation, preferably in high-tech
• Ability to develop processes leveraging both best practices (internal and external) and critical thinking as well as identify areas for process improvement
• Ability to turn data into marketing intelligence & action-oriented analysis
• Minimum of 2-3 years managing marketing technology platforms (Eloqua) and CRM systems (Salesforce.com).
• HTML experience to support campaign creations
