Responsibilities: The Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Supervisor is responsible for understanding, supporting and following all aspects of the Ground Support operation plan, including preventative maintenance and cost effective repair of all ground support equipment within the defined region. Monitor completion and overall performance/productivity of daily work. Train technicians on GSE specifications and troubleshooting. Prioritizing equipment repair needs and ensuring equipment in the field is maintained in a safe condition. Work with manager to maintain cost control and assist in the selection of new employees. Facilitate the completion of special projects as required. This position requires work in some inclement weather conditions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent - Authorization to work in the U.S. and enter/exit Canada - Minimum age of 18 -Valid drivers license and good driving record - Two (2) years demonstrated maintenance experience including welding, painting, electrical work, front end, brakes, hydraulics and diesel. - Own complement of tools - Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds -Ability and willingness to travel -Ability to work flexible schedules to include evenings, weekends and holidays -Regular and predictable attendance Preferred Qualifications: - Automotive/welding/electrical Certification..
