Develop instructional media, including lesson plans and student and instructor guides and deliver instructional services to international defense clients in communications equipment and IT. Serve as a communications systems and computer networks subject matter expert (SME) to the pre-commissioning training team. Instruct international officers and enlisted students in communications and IT equipment operations, maintenance, and repair. Perform material condition assessments and develop troubleshooting and repair plans for all communications and IT equipment. Provide crew familiarization training, including import and dockside underway training and make recommendations for the ships company watchstander certification following construction. This position requires travel to Pascagoula, MS and is located in Pensacola, FL. Requirements: Experience with the operation and maintenance of HF, VHF, and UHF radios, couplers and antennas, INMARSAT communications systems, local area network (LAN) operations and network administration, the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GDMSS), and radio switching networks -Experience with communications and IT equipment maintenance practices, communications operations, message processing, network administration, and security -Experience with preparing lesson plans, curriculum development, and training -Ability to work in Pensacola, FL and Pascagoula, MS -Ability to obtain a security clearance -HS diploma or GED required..
