Responsible for high-level oversight and management of Disability Claims Team. Ensuring claims are handled efficiently, maintaining good policyholder/client relationships and providing technical expertise on disability claims. Manages staff of 20-40 direct and indirect subordinates. Responsible for coaching, staffing, development and performance management of direct and indirect subordinates. Through the proper management of resources, workflow and segmentation of workload, delivering consistent financial results which meet divisional expectations. Experience in Process redesign efforts Familiarity with SPARC and DCMS Applications Some travel required Experience managing Short Term and Long Term Disability claims.
