Responsibilities: Our firmware closes control loops, performs signal processing of images for target detection, geolocates remote targets, and implements user interfaces. We develop for microcontrollers, microprocessors, and single-board computers. Our products communicate with control computers using a variety of protocols, ranging from custom packets over serial links to open XML schemas over TCP/IP. We also write PC-based control applications to support development, test, and manufacturing of our products. Requirements: 7 years experience in structured systems software development The ability to architect computing/software solutions in collaboration with systems, electrical, and mechanical engineers Experience with a variety of computing platforms and understanding of assembly languages, assemblers, linkers, serial debuggers and in-circuit emulators, and the assembly and memory underpinnings required by C Other Requirements The ability to read schematics, and program peripheral devices at the register level Experience with a range of RTOSs from executive loops through embedded Linux / WinCE Understanding of timing relationships and complex logic Broad knowledge of physics The ability to obtain an industrial security clearance..
