McCartyAddress:4940 Eastern Avenue Baltimore, MD 21224Job Details:Applicants must either be enrolled in the Medical Librarianship/Medical Informatics Career Track program of an ALA accredited library program or be enrolled in a graduate library school program and have demonstrated interest in medical librarianship, such as: Completion of medical terminology course, experience in health sciences library, completion of graduate medical library class(s); Recent grads, (within the last year), from an ALA accredited program will be considered.Students will be expected to work a total of 120 hours during the semester, approximately 7 hours a week for the duration of a semester. Hours can be scheduled around the library hours of operation, 8 am- 5 pm, Monday - Friday.Intern will be exposed to all aspects of medical librarianship. Intern will shadow existing library staff during daily activities including teaching classes, rounding, answering user questions, etc.Applications are will be accepted for Fall of '09.
