Responsibilities: We are seeking a talented, driven, well-rounded and experienced protein engineering scientist to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of novel protein products. Job duties include but are not limited to: The key component of the job is to establish protein expression and purification methods for various enzymes at different scales, to support our protein engineering platform Help the development of protein characterization tools including structural biology, biochemical and biophysical assays, to understand enzyme structure-function relationships, stability, and kinetics behaviors Closely interact with molecular biologists, enzymologists, bioinformatics scientists, and engineers Education and Experience: Ph.D. in protein biochemistry, biophysics, or related field 3 years of industry experience in protein sciences and protein engineering Extensive hands-on experiences in protein expression and purification at various scales using both high throughput methods and FPLC Knowledge in protein characterization using biophysical and biochemical methods such as crystallography, spectroscopy, or activity assays Familiarity with all aspects of state-of-art protein engineering methodology, such as structure-based rational design, directed evolution, and machine learning, is highly advantageous Exposure to protein stability studies and protein formulation process is a plus. Ability to mentor junior scientists is a plus High level of technical proficiency, scientific creativity, initiative, independent thought, and collaborative ability Excellent laboratory, organizational, and analytical skillsCreate Profile/ApplyEmail A Friend
