Reports any unsafe situation/equipment according to hospital procedure.5.Collaborates with managers and staff to assess learning needs of clinical staff in all branches of Munson Home Care.6.Plans and implements orientation activities throughout the MHH service area.7.Establishes orientation teaching objectives and work plan with evaluation throughout the sessions.8.Prepares and modifies written educational plans for all orientation activities.9.Remains current in nursing techniques, standards, and procedures.10.Develops and utilizes appropriate evaluation systems to determine effectiveness of orientation activities.11.Participates in committees, task forces, process improvement teams, meetings, and activities to assist in the development of staff and the promotion of continuous quality improvement.12.Provides appropriate documentation tools to managers and staff to enable accurate record keeping of individual orientation activity.13.Prepares and uses audiovisual materials effectively.14.Cross-trains to assist with educational programs.15.Participates in the development of departmental goals and objectives.16.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
