JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for inspection activities necessary to ensure the quality and reliability of our products. Responsible for in-process inspection, final inspection and test of production product

Candidate will promote continuous improvement and total quality concepts on the manufacturing floor.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

Inspects production product for compliance to specified documentation (Process/Router, Drawings, Visual Aids, etc…) to ensure conformity to customer requirements.

Inspects for dimensional and attributes of product, packaging, and labeling.

Performs pull-tests and crimp heights.

Incoming Inspection: Inspects for dimensional and attributes of raw material upon receipt, as required.

Responsible for reviewing, sign-off, and processing of discrepant material.

Interfaces with production and engineering, as required, on quality related issues.

Takes direction from Lead Inspector, including MRB and data generation, as required

Assures compliance to the Quality Plan and Workmanship Standards as related to inspection activities

Maintains quality records associated with production, inspection and test of product
(i.e. Process/Router Sign-offs, tooling cards, etc…)

Conduct product inspections, incoming inspections, and shipping audits, as required, per EWP-2019.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- 2+ years experience in quality inspection or cable assembly production
- Good verbal communications skills and some computer literacy
- IPC-A-610 / J-STD-001 Soldering certification preferred
- IPC-620 Workmanship Standards for Wire and Harness a plus
- Ability to use inspection tools (i.e.Vernier Calipers, Scales, gauges, and Micrometers)
