Responsibilities: Support will include conducting variance analysis and working with Budget Director to enact course corrections as necessary. Ø The candidate will work with current team members, Budget Director and staff to provide knowledge and processes related to acquisition program requirements development, policy and guidance. Ø Candidate will assess "as is" processes, identify weaknesses of the current environment and develop the tools and guidance necessary to transition from "as is" to desired acquisition based budget process. Ø The candidate will need to have a thorough background in DoD Acquisition Program and Financial Management as well as experience with government budget formulation practices specific to Acquisition Programs. Ø The candidate will be expected to perform the financial and business process analysis necessary to develop appropriate acquisition program budget formulation processes that ensure total scope capturing. Requirements: The candidate needs to be a self-starter, comfortable in new situations, willing to learn and accomplish new tasks, be self-managing and have a high level of personal accountability. Ø Experience with Excel and the Microsoft suite of products are a must. Ø Experiences with accounting reconciliation processes are considered extremely beneficial. Position-specific Required Skills: · Experience in DoD Acquisition Program and Financial Management and DoD Acquisition Budget Formulation. · Experience with the resource and management tools and reporting capabilities necessary to support the planning, formulation, execution and reporting of DOD budgets. · Experience with DoD Acquisition Programs PPBE processes and management systems · Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain FULL, ACTIVE SECRET · Experience in technical writing such as standard operating procedures and budget formulation policy. · Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, finance or related field..
