Company Western Distribution Center (WDC) is located in Ontario, CA and specializes in warehouse and distribution services to service multiple divisions covering a broad range of external customers. The position of Industrial Engineer will provide technical expertise to administer, coordinate, and support engineering projects and/or programs as assigned in a distribution center setting. Additionally, this position will acquire and apply working knowledge of 's products and Logistics processes in completing assignments. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide technical expertise to administer, coordinate, and support engineering projects and/or programs as assigned. Make process change recommendations to improve productivity and reduce costs. Make recommendations for new facility equipment purchases. Monitor/lead project teams conducting assessments, and make recommendations from planned tests or experiments. Network with various disciplines and utilize available information resources. Function as the statistical and technical resource for the facility. Requirements: BS degree in Engineering Minimum 2 years Distribution experience. Preferred Qualifications: Prefer Industrial Engineering background. Strong analytical and statistical skills. Solid PC skills to create spreadsheets, graphs, word-processing documents and flow charts, and to process and analyze data in Microsoft Access or similar software. Self-starter with the ability to work independently, and/or with all levels of facility personnel. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills. Results-driven with organizations skills to concurrently monitor and solve short and long term projects. .
