This includes managing the day to day operational aspects of a project and scope including tracking risks and issues. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Create and execute project objectives, deliverables, work plans, and timelines; revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements Identify resources necessary and assign individual responsibilities Manage day to day operational aspects of a project and scope including tracking risks and issues Effectively apply general project management standards Assist in improving and governing the project lifecycle process Proactively and aggressively manage expectations within IT and the business regarding functionality, scope and deliverables Work with stakeholders to identify options and solutions to business problems Work closely with the planning team to document systems and processes including future state, gaps, business requirements, cost analysis, design documents, test cases and user documentation Ensure project documents are complete, current and stored appropriately Maintain transparency and open communication with team members and stakeholders Track project budget, cost and accounting Prepare and hold ultra efficient regular status meetings Manage day-to-day external vendor relationships and escalate issues in a timely manner when appropriate Contribute to and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements: 5 years IT project management experience Previous experience with a Time and Attendance, Salesforce.com a plus Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present issues and information in a clear and concise manner with the goal of driving to decisions Proficiency in IT methodologies, including the development lifecycle Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business or related discipline Proven capability to juggle multiple priorities Extremely detail oriented Leadership skills that energize project teams and encourage teamwork Experience working in a complex, dynamic and fast changing environment..
