Responsibilities: Responsible for direct supervisor of all career & technical education training including all nationally contracted programs and instructors, coordination with national training contractors, work based learning program, CTST administration and scheduling/attendance clerk in compliance with government and management directives. Provide staff training,evaluate the performance ofinstructors through regular classroom observation and supervise the administrative and programmatic activities of the department. Develop budget, monitor and control expenditures, review and recommend changes. Assist with the development and implementation of new and revised policies and procedures affecting career & technical training. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractural compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to student. Prepare all related reports. Provide personal, motivational and vocational counseling to students, manage, recommend and participate in student counseling activities such as staff/studebnt confrontations and individual student problems Evaluate and develop curricula, instructional materials, methods and techniques. Ensure CTST reporting forms required are complied and filed in accordance with DOL requirements, ensure adherence to center's CTST plan. Develop and ensure adherence to center CDSS plan. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in academic, career and technical education training or associated field required. Three years related experience preferred, two of which should be in a supervisory capacity. Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency also required. .
