Responsibilities: Now Hiring:InternalAuditorPosition Profile:Anixter is seeking to add an Internal Auditor to our corporate headquarters team inGlenviewILresponsible for corporate and worldwide reviews.The successful candidate will identify and assess internal and external risks to business objectives, serve as team lead or team member on field engagements, and partner with and consult to mgmt.This is a great opportunity for an experienced candidate with strong analytical, communication, project management and interpersonal skills who is interested in taking on new challenges in a progressive audit organization.Key job responsibilities:Partner with management during engagements and through on-going informal liaison relationships.Assess enterprise risk and provide input to the enterprise audit plan.Plan, scope and execute audit engagements.Identify control issues and establish root cause.Prepare clear, concise and accurate workpapers and reports.Follow up on management's corrective actions.Support external audit testing requirements, including SOX.Communicatewritten and verbal) clearly, professionally and effectively to Anixter teammates at all levels.Contribute to Audit Committee formal communications.Coach, educate and consult to management on risk and control best practices.Stay current in audit and personal discipline fields of knowledge.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or other discipline with a control focus.Ten years of progressively responsible internal audit experience.Broad understanding of business functions and processes.Working knowledge of COSO internal control structure and IIA audit standards.Demonstrated interpersonal skills.Proven analytical ability and established problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines while ensuring quality results.Proficient written and verbal communication skills.Adept at working on teams or independently.Demonstrated integrity and work ethic.Desire and ability to travel domestically and internationally.Additional desired qualifications:CPA,CIA, CISA or related certificationsRelocation is not offered.ONLY RESUMES THAT INCLUDE SALARY Requirements: WILL BE CONSIDERED.
