Develop and maintain operational strategies and procedures. Review and complete daily/weekly control reports. Monitor Loss Mitigation workout performance and loss severity trends. Review of high risk, severely delinquent portfolios and accounts for Loss Mitigation opportunities. Manage call center aspects of Loss Mitigation relative to quality, negotiation, FDCPA, and call performance. Set and monitor individual and departmental objectives. Support upper level management projects and initiatives. Monitor capacity plan and maintain staffing needs accordingly. Schedule personnel and overtime as needed. 2-5 years Loss Mitigation/Collection/Default management experience with a thorough understanding of loss mit workout options (Experience in system conversions, specifically related to default servicing systems helpful). College degree preferred. Thorough knowledge of relevant federal/state regulations and the Fair Debt Collection Protection Act. Thorough knowledge of Mortgage Default and/or Collection/Call Center procedures. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. .
