Will also play an active role in the stabilization and improvement of operations following the implementation of a new core system platform. Responsibilities Initiate actions to foster organizational development and change management activities to ensure high performing work teams Establish and maintain effective communication and cooperation with internal and external business partners Establish plans, goals and budgets to support achievement of Corporate & Operations area objectives Identify opportunities for improving enrollment & billing operations; implement actions to realize those opportunities Ensure up-to-date documentation of policies and procedures is maintained for all enrollment & billing functions Collaborate and communicate with other internal areas regarding enrollment & billing issues and related projects and initiatives to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction Meet established budgets and other financial objectives Improve operational efficiencies Ensure development & maintenance of comprehensive training materials and sessions to provide staff with skills and direction to support achievement of area performance objectives and customer service goals Leverage QNXT capabilities to improve service and reduce administrative expenses Ensure the proper set up of all new and renewing business to ensure proper billing, benefits administration and ID Card issuance. Direct premium & ASO billing functions to ensure timely & accurate billing and cash applications, and also effective receivables management Direct timely & accurate administration of PCP assignments Direct call center responsible for handling account & subscriber inquiries regarding enrollment and billing issues Direct the Broker Compensation function to ensure timely and accurate broker commissions Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies. Requirements: Bachelors degree in business or other applicable field. Masters degree in business or other applicable field preferred. License: N/A Certification: N/A Experience: Minimum of five (5) years operations management experience in a customer focused leadership position. Strong operational knowledge of commercial health insurance industry including HMO & PPO plans. Comprehensive understanding of enrollment, premium & ASO billing, receivables management, & payment processing functions. .
