Responsibilities: Write test plans and test cases based on specs and product knowledge Execute Web Application and API based test cases manually Automate GUI and backend tests using Selenium (JAVA/JUNIT) and Perl/Python Perform front end and back end testing Troubleshoot and isolate issues, file bugs and work with developers Collaborate with a remote QA team Execute automated tests and pro-actively improve automation coverage Participate in deployment to production and subsequent production smoke tests Required Qualifications Strong Java skills with preferably 1-3 years of overall testing and/or development experience 1 years of coding skills (as part of dev/testing/coursework/internship) Equally comfortable with Linux and Windows OS (must have Linux based work experience) Good scripting knowledge (Perl, Python or Shell) Hands-on experience with backend testing with good RDBMS (SQL) knowledge Good mathematical and analytical skills Good grasp of testing concepts and methodologies Good test planning skills Bachelors in Computer Science Desired Qualifications Experience with any performance testing tool (preferably open source) is a plus..
