Requirements: A registered nurse who is a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate state accrediting agency with a Masters in nursing and is BLS certified. (S) He is responsible to the Assistant Chief, Patient Care Services and the Associate Director for Patient Care Service. The RN, Nurse Recruiter is responsible for leadership and management of the nursing recruitment programs throughout the entire VA Medical Center. The RN, Nurse Recruiter establishes and maintains excellent interpersonal relationships with all levels of staff to facilitate optimal recruitment outcomes. .
