Responsibilities: Lead or participate in research and analysis efforts to support the identification and characterization of factors that impact the human dimension of modern and future armed conflict. Investigate cognitive and learning potential, performance, reliability, flexibility, endurance, and adaptability of the individual soldier and leaders, organizations, and equipment across the range of Military operating environments. Identify ways and means that the client can prepare soldiers so future commanders can sustain operations in a time of persistent conflict. Interface daily with soldiers, academic institutions, government civilians, and other DoD contractors working on the development and rapid fielding of advanced warfighting capabilities. Travel up to 15% of the time to attend conferences, meetings, working groups, and other forums devoted to the exploration of the human dimension in current and future warfare. Requirements: 20 years of experience with active Military service at the Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) level -10 years of experience with solving complex problems through creative and independent thinking with at least 3 of those years in addressing problems and issues associated with the human dimension of warfare -3 years of experience with the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) -Secret clearance -MA degree required..
