Responsibilities: Senior Level Geologist/Scientist /Engineer to effectively develop project work and manage, implement and oversee site assessment and remediation and other environmental projects. Seller/Doer ability required and must have existing client relationships to be the successful candidate. Job Description Established track record as a Seller/Doer to develop work in the western Pennsylvania, northern West Virginia and eastern Ohio areas, Manage or perform field work for site characterization and site remediation, including oversight of contractors, and sampling of soil and ground water in accordance with PA, WV and OH regulations and protocols. Perform, analyze, and report on specific environmental project tasks under general supervision and research and recommend solutions to technical problems in accordance with accepted scientific principles and practices. Manage or review moderately complex projects or tasks. Supervise mid-level and junior professionals. Requirements: Minimum BS in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field; Applicable Professional Registration 15 years experience in the performance of project management, business development/client management experience, site assessment and remediation programs Ability to apply analytical or scientific thinking to define and solve problems Strong writing/editing skills necessary Must be proficient in MS Office application software such as Excel and Word Must be able to work in a team environment Some travel required AMEC is committed to the principle of equal opportunity in employment. .
