IT Analyst - Litigation Support (88C) - (Un-CT-Stamford ) Minimum Education: Associate Jobcode: 278379 Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Rate: $25-30/hr C2C or $20-25/hr W-2 The primary responsibilities of this position include: Serves as a hub for all tracking all input and output of material identification & collection, conversion processing, management, delivery, on-line review and production progress including daily communication with outside counsel, Legal, IT third-party vendors, other members of Litigation Support Team Manages exchange of material between the company and third-party vendors. Provides timely detail and summary reports to Team members and stakeholders. Reviews and prioritizes workflow based on direction from Litigation Specialist. Possibly provides database application/utility development and support to Team. Preservation & Gathering Specialist. Ensures chain of custody documentation completeness. Cross-trained as User Support Primary required skills: Demonstrated Project Management background Knowledge of legal discovery process / litigation experience. Very Strong Excel skills, particularly importing, exporting, creating complex formulaic Strings & numerical manipulation Experience working with full-text and relational litigation support databases such as dtSearch, Summation, Concordance, and iConnect. Comfortable building complex Boolean full text searches. Experience processing evidentiary material using IPRO, LAW Pre-Discovery, Z-print. Experience with CaseMap, LiveNote and other common case management support tools. Familiarity with LAW,IPRO, iConect, Concordance, Summation Advanced skills: Experience with relational database design, MS SQL administration as well as knowledge of client-side ODBC connections Ability to write and adapt/modify T-SQL queries and views. Experience in shell scripting, VBScript, and batch file creation Data exchange formatting and transformation making data portable across databases, including the ability to script transformations between litigation applications output files and understanding of every aspect of each programs various load files. Familiar with text editing tools like Textpad or Ultra-edit in addition to perform bulk search and replaces, block deletes and inserts. Good understanding of messaging servers, including MS Exchange. Knowledge of desktop client applications and files (their object models), particularly MS Office (including Office 2007 OOXML format), Outlook and its personal mail stores (PST). Required Experience & Technical Requirements AS/BS/Equivalent Training/Certification with 2+ years relevant experience. Prior experience with SQL and MS Access. Advanced Excel Skills High level of attention to detail. Ability to monitor, evaluate and communicate status of multiple ongoing and unrelated projects to various stakeholders both inside and outside the company. Deals directly with preservation, gathering and document processing, both paper and electronic, as well as non-traditional formats, such as audio, video or transactional data. Prior experience with pharmaceutical or chemical industry is beneficial but not required. | |||||
