BS degree required with 5+ years of related human resources generalist leadership experience, including a solid employee and labor relations background. Must have experience as a key participant in contract negotiations and must be knowledgeable in employment law, FMLA, ADA, and code of ethics. Must have excellent communication skills and presentation skills and experience using Microsoft Office products and HR Systems. SAP or other HRIS systems would be a plus. Should have experience in working in a Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing operation. Would be responsible to manage the Labor Relations function, including coaching and counseling, participate in contract negotiation activities, and provide daily human resource support to customers and employees. Must be able to manage the coordination of all manpower movement including bids, layoffs, recalls, etc. and initiate and conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation, and make recommendations for corrective/disciplinary actions. In addition to a competitive salary, this position is bonus eligible. | ||
