Responsibilities: Under the generaldirection of the Division Manager, the successful candidate will beresponsible for continuing the growth of the business and supervisingan existing staff of Project Engineers, Inspectors and Administrativesupport.The teams arewell established with clients in thearea.Manages projectproduction, marketing efforts, and financial aspects of the Group toensure client satisfaction, continued Group production backlog, andprofitability of all projects within the Group unit.This level Group Manager istypically responsible for groups with annual net revenues of lessthan $2.5M, limited geographic or technical scope, and/or staff ofless than 25 professionals, technicians, and supportpersonnel.Client targets willinclude all local municipalities, Aviation and State departmentsincluding the local TxDOTDistricts.Job duties willinclude:•Business development and managing client relationships withDOT district, surrounding municipalities.•Providing leadership, direction and technical guidance toprogram staff to ensure that quality technical services are deliveredto clients and the business meets its operating performancetargets.•Managingday to day operations, marketing efforts, and managingfinancialsRequirementsBachelor's degree in civilengineering.HighwayRoadway/TransportationConstruction Management experience is a strongplusThesuccessful candidate should have background in constructionmanagement or project management in highway/ roadway construction ordesign; strong technical and interpersonal skills and proficiencywith computers.PBS&J is an EOE/Smoke-Free/Drug-Free Workplace.To submit your resume for this job, select how you heard about the job and then click the Submit Your Resume button below.
