As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:Provide therapy services consistent with the patient’s Plan of Treatment.Observe patient during treatment, compile data and report patient’s progress.Act as a liaison and maintain contact with patients, Physical Therapist and Clinical Team to ensure effective care coordination.Provide hands-on care and education of the patient utilizing Gentiva Care Notes.In addition, a Physical Therapist AssistantHas the autonomy to make individualized patient-centered decisions for optimal clinical care.Works with other highly skilled clinicians through a multi- or interdisciplinary team approach.Benefits from the award-winning Gentiva University for clinical and professional development courses for advanced training and free continuing education credits.Has access to the latest tools, research and techniques through the Gentiva Health Education Center.Requirements: Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program (approved by the APTA)A minimum of six months physical therapist assistant experience preferredHome Health experience a plusCurrent and unrestricted PTA licensureCurrent CPR certificationGood organizational and communication skillsI believe the best is yet to come.
