Responsibilities and Requirements: Experience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital IV room and/or home infusion; with training/experience in home health pharmacy practice and the preparation of sterile products is preferred.Provides comprehensive technical support to the Director of Pharmacy and the Pharmacist in the performance of technical duties related to preparation and dispensing of sterile products, as allowed by law and/or regulation.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.Minimum QualificationsEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent and completion of a certified pharmacy technician training program or acceptance into pharmacy school or two years experience acquired on the job (hospital setting preferred) ExperienceExperience as a Pharmacy Technician in hospital IV room and/or home infusion; with training/experience in home health pharmacy practice and the preparation of sterile products is a plus.Degrees, Licensures, CertificationsMust be eligible for registry with the NC Board of Pharmacy
