Responsibilities: We are delighted that you have chosen to explore the career opportunities available with and EverHome Mortgage.Primary Characteristics:Responsible for performing all post sale activities on FHA, VA, Conventional and Specialty Claim files. Essential Functions:File claims, conveyances and prepare investor billings on FHA, VA, conventional and specialty files as required within established timeframes. Monitor P&P maintenance to ensure all eviction steps are completed within state and insurer requirements. Follow up with attorney offices on title packages/recording of executed deeds and on redemption, ratification and confirmations. Work with HUD to obtain title approval and also obtain extensions as required. Files supplemental claims within required deadlines. Monitor payments of taxes prior to conveyance. Work and monitor all suspended items and returns/VA refunds within insurer guidelines. Ensure files contain proper HUD audit documentation. Work and monitor title issues and reconveyances Prepare key weekly reporting as assigned. Update templates and document client-servicing system in an accurate and timely manner. Monitor reports to ensure tasks/steps are completed timely. Work closely with internal and external contacts including investors, government agencies, clients, contractors, management and other entities. Assist manager as required. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):Must possess a working knowledge of using the internet and Microsoft office suite, i.e. Excel, Word, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Strong organizational and time management skills are a must. Must be a team player, self-motivated and possess a positive attitude. Able to interact effectively with internal and external contacts. Good interpersonal and analytical skills. Able to handle a multitude of tasks and meet strict deadlines. Able to work and review weekly reports for proper resolution and follow-up. Familiar with all insurers, investor and guarantor post sale timeframes and requirements. Training and Experience:Two or more years of mortgage default servicing or processing experience. High school diploma, or a minimum of three years work experience.
