Collaborates with nurse managers, educators, preceptors, mentors, debriefers/self-care facilitators, and other key individuals instrumental in making the RN Residency successful. Communicates successes and obstacles to senior nursing leadership. Works with Versant staff to implement the Residency according to timeline and ensures adherence to Versant standards for all Residency components. Maintains communication with Versant staff. Possesses an understanding of how patient care units operate with respect to the roles of the preceptor, educator, nurse manager, and new graduate nurse, enabling the incumbent to support, advise, and assist these roles in implementing and continuing/enhancing the RN Residency. Delegates to and follows up with colleagues to accomplish Residency implementation. Supervises and works with Residency Administrative Assistant to coordinate and present the Residency. Demonstrates ability to work with colleagues at all levels of the organization and accomplish multiple tasks according to specific timelines. Demonstrates flexibility in the face of changing priorities and schedules. Conveys a positive image of the RN Residency, self, and the organization with internal as well as external constituents.
