Sales Account Director - (US-TX-San Antonio - 78299) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities: Reporting to the VP of Wireline Sales for the Customer KAM, this position's primary responsibility is Relationship Building and Business Development, in order to facilitate breaking into the Customer account on a commercial basis with Ericsson's wireline product and services portfolio. This includes the identification of customer needs and areas where Ericsson could provide a wireline solution and develop business opportunities. In addition this position must take the lead role in the development of the value proposition towards the customer, bring the parties together that will comprise the overall solution and lead the efforts with those partners throughout the sales process. This person will be leveraging KAM resources (e.g. Marketing, technical support), local (MUNA) resources, the Business Units in Headquarters and potentially external Partners. Must also stay engaged throughout the evaluation period, and coordinate any certification activities with the customer such as Lab trials, to make sure that customer satisfaction is met. Should develop and maintain industry relationships which will provide insights for new business models. Will be part of the wireline Sales team developing the business plans and new sales initiatives. Preferences:History of selling to key Customer specific headquarters and regional teams with access to appropriate decision makers and buyers/plannersExperience/understanding of Access sales including FTTC, FTTP, NGDLC, DSLAM, IP and Loop TransportAdditional knowledge of next generation switching, wireless/wireline convergence, IPTV type servicesKnowledge/strong personal relationships with Customer GM's, Directors, and other targeted C-level officersPresentation skills - will be required to do field presentations to each District's Access staff for training, implementation, quote generation and overview of Ericsson capabilities from both a corporate and technology perspectiveRequired past history of success with Wireline Access & Transport Sales.Strong communication skills: written, oral, and presentation skills.Strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Outlook.Extensive regional travel required
