Responsibilities: Plaza Medical Center of Fort Worth is a 320 bed hospital in the heart of the Fort Worth medical district. Specializing in tertiary care, teaching and research, Plaza Medical Center is regionally recognized for its Neuroscience, Orthopedic and Bariatric programs. The Director of Case Management will provide leadership, communication and supervision to the department staff to ensure that HCA and facility strategies are operational. The Director will develop, implement, and review the utilization management plan annually. He/she will identify and implement processes that support and promote efficient patient throughput across the healthcare continuum resulting in optimal clinical outcomes, appropriate utilization of resources, and appropriate and accurate reimbursement.Requirements: Position requirements include: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred. Current active TX RN licensure or eligibility for same. 3-5 years of Case Management experience 5 years of experience as a Manager or Director of Case Management.
