Assistant Account Manager - (US-NE-Lincoln - 68588) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities: General Summary:The Assistant Account Manager I services FACTS/NBS Tuition Management program by providing excellent customer service to incoming callers. This position is also responsible for researching and resolving problem tuition payment agreements, bank returns, and credit card returns. The Assistant Account Manager I may be required to correspond with schools, in order to resolve problem agreements. The Assistant Account Manager I may, as needed, assist Account Managers with special projects or the receptionists with answering and properly directing incoming calls.Essential Job Functions:1. Answer caller questions in regards to the FACTS/NBS tuition payment agreements (“agreements”). Assist callers with set-up of agreements over the phone. If necessary, direct callers to the Account Manager, Team Leader or contact at the school.2. Research bank and credit card returns (such as invalid account numbers) and provide the correct information to the appropriate Account Manager.3. Research incomplete agreements and place follow-up calls when necessary.4. Obtain accurate and complete information needed to resolve incomplete and inaccurate agreements and reenrollment forms. Verify information entered by Data Entry. Monitor and track unsolved problem agreements.5. Assist Account Managers with shipping of supplies and/or manuals, and other special projects.6. Prepare remittance statements for mailing.7. Send proper written correspondence to the school and/or responsible party to assist in resolving problem agreements.8. Act as a back up to the receptionist as needed.9. Perform other related duties as assigned by Team Leader.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:1. Skills to operate various types of office equipment, such as a computer, calculator, copy machine, facsimile, and telephone.2. Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills to effectively work with customers, co-workers, and business contacts in a professional, courteous manner.3. Above average computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, the World Wide Web, and the Internet.4. Ability to work with minimal supervision, and handle several activities simultaneously.5. Ability to handle stressful situations and meet deadlines.6. Accurate and detail oriented.7. Aptitude for numbers/math.8. Excellent prioritization, organization, and time management skills.Education and Experiences:High School graduate plus 2 years college/technical school and two years related work experience, with the ability to substitute related work experience for college/technical school educational requirements.
