Responsibilities: The Business Analyst is responsible for identifying and managingthe functional and system requirements for system support to theDepartment of Defense as well as other federal agencies, state/localgovernments, and their commercial counterparts. The efforts willentail guiding the implementation of and supporting severalinterdependent Department of Defense project components and requiresthe combined knowledge and integration of client requirements, theusers’ environment(s), and of all business processes. TheBusiness Analyst will work closely with the customer and apply theirrequirements analysis techniques to gather and analyze stakeholderrequirements. The Business Analyst will support all phases of theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SLDC) and will be responsible formaintaining documentation including business requirements documentsand functional requirements documents.Primary Role:Provides input into modifying systems to meet client needsand develop functional specifications to support thesemodifications.Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and documentrequirements.Assists in coordinating requirements analyst tasks for systemdevelopment projects.Assists in analyzing testing results in all SDLC phases.Technical Requirements: At least 5 years of formal business systems analysisexperienceAt least 2 years of requirements gathering and analysissupport to SDLCReviews system and organization business processes to improvebusiness activities.Experience documenting requirements using enterpriserequirements management softwareExperience with development of System requirements, UseCases, conceptual process modelsBasic Requirements: - Good written and oral communication and presentation skills- Strong interpersonal skills- Strong leadership skills- Ability to lead and work in a dynamic, team environment- Experience in a government consulting environment, includingsupporting DoD clients (preferred)RequirementsTo submit your resume for this job, select how you heard about the job and then click the Submit Your Resume button below.
