About Us:
The Wholesale Warranty Club was founded by former consumer finance and insurance executives to address ongoing issues within the extended warranty market. Rampant with price gouging and in some cases outright fraud, the extended warranty marketplace needed to have its’ deck shuffled. As a membership based Club, Wholesale Warranty Club offers a way for consumers to obtain quality warranty products at true wholesale pricing.
Unknown to most consumers extended service contracts sold by auto dealers, electronics and appliance stores as well as online retailers are marked up by more than 300%. Club members have access to the highest quality warranty products at half the price available anywhere else. As an example, the same extended warranty a consumer would pay $2500 for at their local dealer might have a cost of only $800-$900 through The Club.
The Club’s mission is to provide the very best in available coverage at a price that will eliminate the exorbitant markups currently seen at the retail level. Our goal is that once members are introduced to the benefits of Club membership, they will no longer be willing to pay retail or settle for inferior coverage.
Position Summary:
In the role of Area Sales Manager you will call on designated affiliates within a defined geographic territory. The primary responsibility of this position is to promote membership growth in a wholesale, B2B environment. This includes the initial contact of a prospective client as well as ongoing account and relationship management. You will educate and train our affiliates on the benefits of The Club as to maximize their ability to sell memberships into their client base. Successful Area Managers will make 8-10 in-person contacts per day as well as stay in constant communication with existing affiliates. Our reps are a resource to our affiliate base for product specific questions and tips/best practices for bringing on new members.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Make 8-10 qualified presentations per day
Effective use of time in this home based outside sales position
Build long term relationship with the key accounts within the territory
Deliver a minimum of 200-300 new members per month within 6 months of start date
Represent The Club in a professional manner
Daily local travel required
Qualifications:
5+ years in a B2B outside sales role
Ability to train affiliates in best practices driving their continued success with the program
Prior experience in an outside B2B sales position required
Prior experience with warranty products and insurance a plus
Former Wholesale AEs and Dealer Finance reps should apply
Excellent people skills
Ability to communicate effectively with small business owners
Valid Drivers License
