This position also supports the Director of Quality Management in the medical care evaluation process. This includes, working in conjunction with the Director, case finding and facilitation of physician peer review committees, recognition of trends and complications, and accurately documenting findings for evaluation through ongoing professional practice evaluation Requirements: RN with 5 years acute care medical/surgical or critical care experience Management experience preferred Detail oriented and self directed Comfort in interacting with all levels of staff including physicians Previous knowledge of the NYPORTS system preferred Understanding of requirements for hospital quality measures a plus Experience in electronic medical record use preferred.
