Business Development Manager - (US-TN-Chattanooga - 37450) Minimum Education: None Job Type: Full Time Jobcode: N/A Email this job to yourself or to a friend | Job Match Test | Resume Guide Click Here to Apply Online Responsibilities: Drive standardization in vendor utilization Establish vendor rating system and work with sourcing. - Provide forward thinking to begin and setup future projects for team members. - Drive personnel growth for new and existing team members to ensure proper tools and training are in place to effectively complete project deliverables. - Establish and lead collaboration efforts between different Westinghouse organization to achieve common goals and maximize synergies within BWR Field Services. - Work with the BWR Services Manager to continuously develop team goals and vision - Support and consult team members during their developmental projects for purchasing and requisition of services and material. - Review cost estimates for developmental projects of team members. - Well developed communication skills with ability to explain and discuss difficult information in Westinghouse sourcing processes. Requirements: 10 Years in Westinghouse sourcing/vendor supply processes. - Previous managerial experience preferred. - Business Administration training preferred. - Ability to lead projects without management oversight, (self starter). - Work in a team atmosphere and interface well with internal and external vendors. - Demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint). - Demonstrated Customer 1st or Six Sigma experience preferred. - SAP proficiency preferred. General Job Function Major Focus of Position: Direct and coordinate project activities of multidisciplinary team to satisfy contractual obligations, meet project milestones, enhance customer relations, and optimize short-term and long-term company profit by effectively managing and facilitating project/company resources. Required Skills: *Must assume overall responsibility for Westinghouse’s performance in fulfilling contractual obligations, meeting financial and non-financial objectives, and for profitability of contract using skills to analyze contract requirements and formulate and implement complex project plans and integrated systems including cost and schedule estimates, control mechanisms, and reporting processes. *Manage and facilitate communications with and between multi-disciplinary team members to promote project-wide teamwork using effective communication tools including project process metrics and process maps. *Manage relationships between customer and suppliers to achieve expected revenue and profit margin goals. *Analyze and resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues. *Possess excellent negotiation skills. *Interpret, transmit, and effectively manage contract changes. *Integrate project activities with other related Westinghouse project activities whenever possible to maximize efficient and effective use of company resources and minimize costs. *Perform routine project assessment and reporting including customer feedback, lessons learned, and internal financial and performance reviews. .
