Responsibilities: Assist production operations in troubleshooting various problems while also optimizing existing products/processes through PPU efforts.  Drive root cause identification and resolution of process and product excursions  Actively participate in the development of new products, processes and equipment to support cost business growth & continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities include a full range of manufacturing processes and support of engineering activities across a broad base of product families.   Specific duties include:  Identify and initiate programs to improve operational safety, product quality, productivity, and unit cost  Utilize Lean/6 Sigma Manufacturing methods for improving processes and reducing waste.  Develop and maintain process & product standards  Assist production operations in troubleshooting various problems while also optimizing existing products/processes through PPU efforts.  Drive root cause identification and resolution of process and product excursions  Actively participate in the development of new products, processes and equipment to support cost business growth & continuous improvement efforts. Basic/Minimum Qualifications: High School Degree Minimum of an internship in Manufacturing and/or Product Engineering. .
