Responsibilities: The position will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors to support both current special projects as well as what is likely to be a $50 million comprehensive campaign. As a member of the lead team that maximizes gifts from our highest capacity donors, the SDO will be working directly with the Director of Development (direct report) and the President and CEO. He/she will maintain a portfolio of approximately 150 prospects while overseeing the major and planned giving programs. NEHGS seeks a highly organized professional with at least seven years of applicable experience. Candidates must have a track record of all aspects of building donor relationships and closing on gifts of at least 6-figures. NEHGS is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
