Responsibilities: Perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, calibrations and decontaminations, with some supervision. Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies. Support and understand compliance with contractual expectations. Develop effective relationships with customers and other staff members. Perform technical phone support during business hours and after hours. Communicates and collaborates with the customer, sales and co-workers to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies. Effective problem identification and problem solving. May require work performed in customer setting however normal duties will be in Hill-Rom facilities. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Safety training, meeting and medical testing requirements are kept up-to-date. Operates safely and within guidelines or regulations. Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality in compliance with all Company, governmental and customer regulations. All other duties as assigned. Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 2-5 years or equivalent combination of education and biomedical experience with Hill-Rom, a hospital, the military or any other comparable organization. (Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent = 2 years experience; Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences or equivalent = 3 years experience). Pass Hill-Rom internal biomedical exam (external candidates must pass within 60 days of employment). Have a minimum of an Associates Degree in biomedical equipment technology or related electronics or field or military equivalent. .
