Responsibilities: Senior International Financial Analyst plays a key role in the Universitys budget, financial reporting, and complex forecasting processes by developing and maintaining budget records and financial forecasts for worldwide operations. Prepares and maintains analyses comparing school, department and site operations to budgets, acts as a liason between the business office and managers in developing revenue and expense models, allocation models and prepares other financial analyses as requested by management. Acts as a liaison with European operations and plays a key role in accurate forecasting, key performance indicator and benchmark reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: 1. Produce timely, accurate and meaningful financial statements and analyses using reporting tools and data mining techniques: a. GAAP basis consolidated financial statements b. Management reports on operations by school, department, location and program c. Dashboard reports on key performance indicators d. Special analyses as requested 2. Prepares complex automated dashboard and reporting models for reporting key performance by each reporting unit. 3. Prepare forecasting models to help align priorities with resources. 4. Prepares Global consolidated monthly, quarterly, and year-to-date budget analyses, workpapers, and reports for management and the board. 5. Serves as business office liaison with University personnel in Slovakia; provides financial analyses of European operations and transactions, ensures accurate reporting and forecasting. Serves as an oral communication link, and translates business documents between Slovakian and English languages. 6. Establishes reporting framework for evaluating the effectiveness of the university. Sets up reporting structure and tools necessary for the reporting. 7. Prepares Global analyses and reports of current and historical tuition, instruction, and expense data and trends to support management decision making and board presentations; highlighting reporting by region. 8. Completes Global benchmark reporting and comparison to industry results. 9. Assists in the preparation of financial forcasts for prospective new programs and sites and subsequently analyzes operating results. 10. In collaboration with the Controller and our staff in Europe, develop and maintain accounting systems and financial reporting packages to facilitate the preparation of consolidated financial reports and analyses. .
