Responsibilities: Concurrent has an exciting opportunity for a college student seeking to obtain experience working as a System Engineer with our Architecture team. This individual must be motivated, professional and possess the ability to analyze requirements and research topics such as caching algorithms and Wireless/Internet content streaming. The research information will then be authored in PowerPoint, White Papers and Scope Documents and presented to the Architecture team for comments. Additional responsibilities include evaluating new competitive technologies and develop well-designed architectural diagrams and generating lab data to execute simulation models. Enrolled in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication, related engineering field. Working knowledge of system hardware and software. Ability to evaluate new and competitive technologies in order to determine its feasibility for integration into the system Able to develop and present architectural diagrams, system requirements, scope and functional specification documents for new enhancements. Able to develop White Papers and other technical documents for review and presentation to internal and external groups. Proficient in collecting internal and external customer concerns and update documents or comments accordingly. Understanding of Object-Oriented design, Python Scripting and development methodologies Knowledge of streaming data to Wireless, PC and TV using defined protocols. Knowledge of generating lab data to execute and modify simulation models. .
