Responsibilities: The purpose of this position is to supervise warehouse/distribution function and staff. Responsibilities Sort, distribute, and assign work to employees. Oversee quality and quantity of work. Train new employees. Oversee that all orders are picked correctly and all trucks are loaded correctly. Assure that stages are correctly picked, labeled, and broken down. Ensure that all messages on body of order are followed on those pertaining to warehouse Oversee clerical support, including checking that all orders are being invoiced as well as confirmed; assist in any computer problems; and assure that locations are being updated Oversee UPS, including making sure labeling is correct, confirming all batches in computer, printing all three shipping manifests, transcribing numbers to appropriate book and attaching accounting summaries to appropriate paperwork. Locate stock when computer shows quantity but merchandise cannot be found Oversee and maintain housekeeping of warehouse. Requirements: 1-2 years lead in DC. 2-3 years warehouse supervisory experience. Knowledge of control, shipping, and receiving procedures required. .
