Responsibilities: Calaveras County Planning Department is seeking an exceptional professional to supervise a diverse and complex technical and professional staff. As our General Plan Coordinator you will play a key role in day-to-day operations, including highly complex planning assignments, preparation and administration of the general plan, contract administration, subdivision regulations and land development. As a supervisor, you will be expected to manage in a strong and decisive manner, be open to input and suggestions from staff, and display leadership by example. Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university with major in urban or regional planning, public administration, geography, architecture, or a related field AND five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in planning, including at least one year in a supervisory capacity. .
