Requirements: B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Knowledge and familiarity with the following is desirable: Pipeline and Pipeline Facilities Engineering relies heavily on communication skills, creativity, teamwork, problem solving, and coordination skills The candidate should have strong analytical skills and grasp fundamental electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil engineering concepts associated with pipeline system development, construction, and operations Desirable experience includes exposure to pipelines, fluid hydraulics, pipeline facilities design, construction, route selection, field survey, regulatory, construction and arctic engineering Job Responsibilities: Participate in development planning teams and project teams to define and implement pipeline and pipeline facility system configurations, mechanical design, material qualification, construction, and commissioning. Develop project documents, manage interactions with engineering contractors to ensure work products meet specifications, verify design integrity, and ensure that the proposed solutions are technically sound and meet operability and maintainability requirements Manage interfaces between various engineering disciplines, EMDC functional groups, and contractors Participate in pipeline system design and execution plan risk assessments Develop standards, processes, and �tools� for use by pipeline engineering and pipeline facility practitioners..
