Responsibilities: Develops Title I lesson plans and prescribes the lessons that the students will work on during Title I time. Evaluates the progress of Title I students and completes progress reports each marking period. Communicates progress of students to the classroom teacher, parents, and school administration on a regular basis orally and in writing. Confers with classroom teachers, other specialists, administrators, parents, and students regarding needs of Title I students. Gathers and interprets test data with teachers, administrative staff, students, and parents. Analyzes test data to effect program improvement based on students progress. Provides staff development in the four core subject areas. Promotes parent involvement of Title I families. Works with teachers in improving the Title I program. Recommends, orders, maintains inventory, and demonstrates appropriate use of materials and techniques for teaching Title I students. Perform other incidental tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position. .
