Responsibilities: Activities and duties will vary dependent upon functional area assigned. Activities may include, but are not limited to: Manage a diverse set of research requests from a variety of resources (segment management, product management, operations, leadership). Research s key competitors, performing analysis and translating trends, market intelligence and information from our field team into key insights to assess market opportunities and risks. Appropriately scope and prioritize requests based on timing, effort and impact to the business. Provide fact-based insight to trends, current events and packaging innovation occurring in the targeted pressure sensitive markets (Household, Personal Care, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, etc.) Prepare detailed analysis of market segment opportunities which may include large databases, store visits and regional differential analysis. Organize data for new pressure sensitive markets, laying the groundwork for targeted segments in pressure sensitive. Responsible for project management and administration, including determining the direction of the project as well as how implementation of the project will occur. Prepare detail of work plan and schedule, complete detailed analysis and research, identify options, prepare reports for business unit managers and recommend action or change. Lead and support projects to test and prove hypotheses in business through the research and evaluation of markets, competition, performance drivers and alternatives. Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree required, MBA preferred. 6 - 8 years business, marketing or related field. Knowledge of research methodologies. Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex financial and statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion. .
