Responsibilities: Develop contacts and relationships, and pitch editorial/journalistic/media relations professionals. Participate in program presentations to clients. Prepare written materials including press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence and reports. Create budget and job status reports. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or a related field. Three to five years communications experience, minimum two years working in a PR agency or similar background. Solid media relations experience consumer and/or food media is a definite plus. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines. .
